This week’s question:
Do you have a ‘feel good’ read or author that you go to whenever you’re sick or feeling down?
Whenever I’m feeling down, I can go 2 different ways: Romance or Snark… I either go for my the Highlander series by Karen Marie Moning and surround myself with my book boyfriends-the MacKeltar’s (yes, all of them), Dead to the World by Charlaine Harris (The Sookie book where Eric has no idea he’s a vampire jerk) OR, (this happens most often) I turn to the snarky books because they make me laugh. These snarky books include: anything by Molly Harper, Darynda Jones’ Charley Davidson series, or The Chicagoland Series by Chloe Neill.
So, I keep my options open…

Great choices, especially Charley Davidson for snark. LURVE< LURVE< LURVE her books. And you can't go wrong with a MacKelter or an Adam Black

Oh I love KMM’s Highlander Series. I totally forgot about it till you mentioned it but yes, I have read those books quite a few times. Sexy Men in Kilts. YUM!
Number 4 in the Sookies series is my fave as well. Excellent choices.

OMG LOVE them all! The only one I haven’t read is the Charley Davidson series but whew those others? Yeah. Drustan’s books is my FAVORITE KMM book. And Molly Harper? Yeah she’s awesome. I love her Naked Werewolves. Just starting on her vamps. Great list

Thanks for sharing. I haven’t read the Charley Davidson series. I’ll have to check them out. My “go to” author for when I need a pick me up is SHELLY LAURENSTON! Her books have the romance I’m looking for along with humor/snark and some real hot sex scenes.
