Hey Everyone! Welcome to my stop on the Drink Deep Blog Tour. Drink Deep is the much anticipated book #5 in Chloe Neill’s “Chicagoland Vampires” series. The Chicagoland Vampires series has become of of my absolute favorite Urban Fantasy series. Merit is the heroine of the series, she was the girl-next-door type of girl until she was unwillingly changed into a vampire. The Chicagoland Vampire series contains it all, from vampire politics, sexy men, sword fights, shifters, and plenty of snarky sarcasm. Book #4, Hard Bitten, ended on a bit of a cliff-hanger, and fans of this series have been anxiously awaiting the release of Drink Deep. Book Blurb for Drink Deep:
Clouds are brewing over Cadogan House, and recently turned vampire Merit can’t tell if this is the darkness before the dawn or the calm before the storm. With the city itself in turmoil over paranormals and the state threatening to pass a paranormal registration act, times haven’t been this precarious for vampires since they came out of the closet. If only they could lay low for a bit, and let the mortals calm down.
That’s when the waters of Lake Michigan suddenly turn pitch black-and things really start getting ugly.
Chicago’s mayor insists it’s nothing to worry about, but Merit knows only the darkest magic could have woven a spell powerful enough to change the very fabric of nature. About the Author:
Chloe Neill was born and raised in the South, but now makes her home in the Midwest–just close enough to Cadogan House and St. Sophia’s to keep an eye on things. When not transcribing Merit’s and Lily’s adventures, she bakes, works, and scours the Internet for good recipes and great graphic design. Chloe also maintains her sanity by spending time with her boys–her favorite landscape photographer/husband and their dogs, Baxter and Scout. I am probably the only person who loves UF an paranormal books to have not read this series yet! I am really looking forward to it and actually am heading over to get a couple! The whole series is definately going on my TBR list!!

i have been waiting for this book since i finished the last one. Like everyone else i was really upset with the last cliffhanger ending. i am trusting Chloe Neill to come up with a good tricky way out that i will love for Merit….. i plan on being at the store first thing to pick up my copy.

I love the Chicagoland Vampires series as well, I haven’t read Hard Bitten yet because I want to have my hands on Drink Deep first because I’ve heard it has a huge twist/cliff hanger! I’m excited to devour it as soon as I can though! Awesome giveaway!
