This week’s teaser comes from Keri Arthur’s new release, Darkness Unbound. This is book 1 in a new series, the Dark Angels series. If you read KeriArthur’s Riley Jensen series, then the world in Darkness Unbound will be familiar to you. In this one, Risa is all grown up and trying to figure out why everyone is suddenly waiting for her Aedh father to contact her. I’m just over halfway through the book, and I’m really loving it so far. Here’s my teaser:
It was the weirdest sensation, as if I were standing in the eye of a storm that no one could see and no one but me could feel. And it was so peaceful, so right, that it scared the hell out of me. -page 104

Oh I want this book!! My library doesn’t have it yet, and I am broke.lol. A poor book blogger is not a happy one. Anyways great teaser! Hope this book is as awesome as the Riley books!

That sounds really interesting, especially the fact she thought the feeling of being in a storm (even though it was one no one else could see) felt peaceful – that it scared the hell out of her, haha such opposite emotions! I like the cover too, very intriguing teaser, makes me wonder what’s going on with her that she feels like that, what’s the cause!
