Since I was gifted with an ARC copy of Deadlocked by Charlaine Harris from ACE/Penguin Publishing, and TODAY is release day, I decided to share a teaser from Deadlocked today! *NOTE* Since my teaser is from the ARC copy, the teaser is subject to change in the final draft/published book.
That was how I came to see Bellanos and our Hooligans waitress bounding across the road after a deer. I braked desperately, and my car slid sideways. I knew I’d end up in the ditch. (Chapter 10, page 202 of the ARC)

I have read every book in this series when it was first released before the TV Series, and I just love them, don’t mind the TV Series either. I cannot wait for the next book to be released, I hope it is soon.
