Big Changes for Book Savvy Babes are Here!
I mentioned a few weeks ago that there would be big changes and announcements coming soon to Book Savvy Babe. The time is here 
Book Savvy Babe blog has been going strong for almost 2 years now. Earlier this year, I took on an associate reviewer to help with the review load, and Rory has been an awesome help. However, I seem to just get busier with my kids and life, and I feel like I’m never quite caught up or have enough time to read the books on my bookshelf. Also, I am going back to school this Spring 2013 semester, so my time will be even more limited for blogging.

If you have been around the book blogosphere for awhile, you may remember Laurielu from Bona Fide Reflections. Laurie had to take a blog-break in 2012, and she is now ready to jump back in. She has graciously agreed to jump on the Book Savvy blog train. So, Book Savvy Babe is transitioning to:
Book Savvy Babes!
Don’t worry, the slight name change will not affect how you follow this blog. We just adjusted the name a little bit However, please follow Laurielu’s social media links too, there’s just more Book Savvy Babes awesomeness going around!

Hello!
I am so excited to team up with Heather here on the Book Savvy Babes book blog. I started off with my own book blog, Bona Fide Reflections, and kept up with that for about a year and a half. Then real life got in the way and I had to take a hiatus from book blogging. I have missed being apart of the book blogging community and socializing with all of my friends and followers. When I decided it was time for me to get back in the swing of things, I felt so overwhelmed. So much to do with building back up the following, reading, and posting my reviews. It was a blessing to me to have Heather approach me about partnering up and running a book blog together. I am honored she thought of me.
Many of you already know me. However, I thought I would share some personal tidbits about me with you. I was a stay at home mom to my daughter and son for 11 years and, I guess, I still am. I am recently divorced and starting my life over at the age of forty-something. No, I mean the age of twenty something (snort). I will be spending a bit of time pursuing a job which is a headache in and of itself; but, add in the fact that I have not been in the workforce for 11 years…. Well, this endeavor is that much more daunting for me. I am excited, though. I am “me” again and happy. I have a feeling 2013 is going to be my year.
